Print Specifications
All prints on this site are created using a process called giclee.
They are created using the finest Canvas and Watercolor Papers
with pigmented ink. These archival materials are museum quality
and longevity rated up to 200 years without any visible sign
of fading. My art is produced at better than photographic clarity.
If you are unfamiliar with Giclee, it is the latest digital based
technology for fine art reproduction. In the past the most common
methods was the lithograph (in most cases offset or mechanical
printing) and the serigraph (silkscreen).Comparing these antiquated
techniques to Giclee is like comparing records and tapes to compact
disks.
As a self-published artist I have complete control over all aspects
of the reproduction process. I use the finest equipment and materials
that not only create the visual beauty I desire but extreme longevity.
I keep my edition sizes small to preserve integrity and rarity
so each piece can be handed down from generation to generation
as a family heirloom.
Each piece is hand signed / numbered by Max Gold and is accompanied
by a certificate of authenticity.
